Maybe seeing themselves on the big screen was too much to take for “Sex and the City” stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. Apparently, soon after the movie’s release, they both paid a visit to Roosevelt Hospital on 10th Avenue for minor surgeries. “Cynthia had a breast augmentation and soon after, Kristin had the varicose veins on her legs removed,” said an insider. “They both made sure they did it on the quietest day of the week.” It could explain why Davis always wears long hems. Nixon, whose rep denied the surgery, could have been disappointed with her topless scene. Davis’ rep had no comment.

In the new Sex And The City film, the director wanted his cast to get naked. Of course he would because I’m sure the 95% female audience of this film wants nothing more in life than to see Kim Cattrall walking around naked for the umpteenth time.Kim gets naked, and the director knew Sarah Jessica Parker wouldn’t because no one sees her naked. I wonder if Matthew Broderick has even seen her naked. Cynthia Nixon was a no, and so the director asked Kristin Davis to get naked for a shower or bath scene.

Kristin said no to the director which is fine and I don’t really care because I’m not going to see the movie and really have no desire to see any of the four naked. What really ticked me off though about Kristin Davis is the answer she gave. The answer apparently was given before the naked photos of her in the bath and having sex were released and just goes to show you that things are not always as they seem.

“He tried to get me to be naked in that shower scene but I feel like I can’t do that stuff. I feel really panicky about that stuff.”

Apparently this is something new because obviously she didn’t panic when she was taking the multiple nude photos of her just posing for the world to see while other showed her performing certain sexual acts. I’m sure she would say those photos were private and she had been drinking a whole bunch and now she is sober and just can’t stand the idea of being naked in front of a camera anymore.

Fine, then say that, but don’t say things that make it seem like you have never done it in your life or would do it in your life. Be honest. Speak the truth. Don’t have your people and your lawyers come out and deny and deny that the photos are yours when everyone in the world knows they are. Then when you realize no one believes that, then you have your lawyers send out cease and desist letters because sites were making money off your photos and not paying you. Why would you do that if they were not your photos. Be honest when an interviewer asks why you don’t want to get naked in a film. Say, something like I did that before and it didn’t work out so well and so would rather not.

The whole world just spins and spins and spins which is why we are all shocked when a celebrity comes out and say something with no spin. The Shia LaBeouf story from this week comes to mind when he said he had to pay his dad to spend time with him. Love it. No holding back. Just speak the truth people. It will set you free. Or, at least give you less bashing from the bloggers of the world.

How much would you pay to join the stars of Sex and the City on the red carpet at the premiere of the movie?

One woman from Japan won Oxfam’s auction to attend the New York event with Kristin Davis.

The winning bid? $52,100 – which goes entirely to the international relief and development organization.

The winner, who found out about the auction from an interview with Davis in last week’s Us Weekly, plans to go to the premiere with her fiance.

“Oxfam’s mission is to alleviate poverty and injustice by helping people learn skills and create lives,” Davis explained to Us. “I just got back from Africa and saw firsthand that we’re making a long-term difference. It gave me a sense of satisfaction.”

The prize includes a pair of Jimmy Choos for the occasion and an on-air meet and greet with Davis, who plays Charlotte York.

Earlier this month, a man from the U.K. placed a winning bid of $40,100 at an Oxfam auction to join Scarlett Johansson at the L.A. premiere of He’s Just Not That Into You.

Despite initial reports suggesting a sex tape of the actress had been released, it is now believed 20 photos were sold by the ex-boyfriend to a third party, who then posted them online. However, Kristin’s press rep. immediately moved to deny the claims, insisting: “This is not a photo of Kristin Davis. There is no sex tape.” Kristin is not the first celebrity to be embroiled in a sex tape scandal. Video footage of socialite Paris Hilton engaged in a variety of sexual acts was leaked on the Internet by her ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon in 2003. The video was eventually released as an adult DVD entitled ‘1 Night in Paris’. Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson, who went on to later marry Salomon, and her ex-husband Tommy Lee appeared in X-rated footage that was recorded on their honeymoon and later posted on the web.

Sometimes I think they are real, and sometimes I can’t tell. There is a new batch that has been released and they are not from the same source as the original photos released yesterday. It is becoming clear that there is no sex tape out there. If anything, this is a bunch of photos from a relationship she had with a guy about five years ago. The latest batch of photos have some with her face and some that don’t. Obviously, they are all NSFW.

I admire how Kristin Davis doesn’t cave into peer pressure and continues to maintain her good looks as evidenced by her great abs. Meanwhile her cast mates allow themselves to be ravaged by the effects of time. Although, let’s be real, Sarah Jessica Parker was born with the face of a bridge troll. I even hear she visits hospitals to reverse the effects of Viagra overdose, so God bless her for overcoming adversity and being a beacon of light and stuff. Just don’t look at me.
