With her hair cropped and dyed black after her recent role as Joan Jett in the biopic about The Runways, Stewart looks very different from Bella Swan, the fresh-faced teen she portrays in Twilight, the story of a romance between a vampire and human girl.

Smoky make-up, leopardskin and lace ensure she smoulders in the striking shots by Craig McDean for Interview magazine.

During the interview, conducted by veteran actor Dennis Hopper, Stewart admits she is struggling to adapt to her sudden fame.

It was less than a year ago that she and leading man Robert Pattinson starred in the first Twilight film – adapted from Stephanie Meyer’s best-selling books.

There have been rumours of a real-life romance, although Stewart is in a relationship with actor Michael Angarano.

She tells Hopper: ‘I don’t talk to anybody about my personal life, and maybe that perpetuates (the attention), too.’

Followed by fans and photographers, Stewart finds it hard to live normally and has become ‘boring’ because she spends so much time in her hotel room while she is filming the sequels.

‘I’d like to take more walks after work instead of having to come back to my hotel room and not leave. So it can be boring,’ she said. ‘I don’t leave my hotel room – literally, I don’t.’

As well as her day-to-day-life, she feels the movie series has begun to dominate her conversation.

‘The sad thing is that I feel so boring because Twilight is literally how every conversation I have these days begins – whether it’s someone I’m meeting for the first time or someone I just haven’t seen in a while.

‘The first thing I want to say to them is, “It’s insane! And, as a person, I can’t do anything!” But then I think to myself, God damn it, shut the f**k up.’

Stewart is currently working on the third Twilight movie Eclipse after finishing the sequel New Moon earlier this year.

While New Moon sees Pattinson’s vampire character Edward Cullen attempt to leave his human girlfriend Bella to save her life, Eclipse sees her torn between her blood-sucking lover and her werewolf friend Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).

Stewart says she is finally getting a better understanding of Bella in the sequels although she finds her obsessive love for Edward disturbing.

She said: ‘I feel like I really know Bella now…

‘You have to question their (Bella and Edward’s) motivations – to watch two people so unhealthily devoted to each other.
‘I stand behind everything that they do. I have to justify it in my mind, or else I couldn’t play the character. But they are definitely not the most pragmatic characters.

‘The weirdest f**king themes run through this story – like dominance and masochism.’

Meyer’s Twilight books have sold over 25million copies worldwide and a further 20million copies in the U.S. and have been translated in 37 languages.

When the Twilight movie was released in the U.S. last November, it took an amazing $69million on its opening weekend.

Kristen Stewart is baring it all.

The Twilight star will appear nude in an upcoming indie flick, “Welcome to the Rileys,” also starring James Gandolfini. The “Twilight” star plays the role of a 16-year-old lap dancer and prostitute, Mallory.

The movie tells the story of how Mallory reunites a grieving couple (Gandolfini and Oscar nominee, Melissa Leo) who have fallen apart after the death of their young daughter eight years before. The speculation is that Stewart will strip in several scenes.

“It’s an independent movie that nobody would normally see and now it’s like, ‘Oh, let’s go see Bella in this stripper movie—it’ll be crazy!” the actress told WENN.com.

Also coming up for Stewart is her role playing Joan Jett in “The Runaways” due next year, and the next two movies in “The Twilight Saga.”

Looks like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are better actors than some of you give them credit for.

After plenty of awkward interaction at Comic-Con last week, it was almost too obvious that Rob and Kristen were being told to stay the hell away from each other.

So how did Robsten spend some much deserved free time Wednesday night before their crazy day on Thursday?

We hear from well-placed sources that Rob and Kristen were “together” Wednesday night, happy at last, on the 11th floor of the über-hip Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.

“They were so private,” dish our in-the-know eyes. “They were hardly seen by anyone. Their people made sure of that. But [Rob and Kristen] were there. They had a secret entrance to the hotel and everything.”

Well, we were at the Hard Rock, too, and we can assure you all Robsten was nowhere to be seen in any of the common areas.
“Who knows their specific sleeping arrangements, but [Rob and Kristen] were on the same hotel floor.”

Too dee-lish. And remember how we told you Rob was given a bit of a break before heading back to New York to finish filming Remember Me? He was supposed to stay down in San Diego Thursday night, too, but instead, Rob decided to head back up to L.A. early…with Kristen!

The San Diego airport is literally 10 minutes from the H.R. hotel. That’s why Rob flew straight into S.D. Wednesday from NYC. Couldn’t possibly imagine why he would choose to depart out of LAX instead and spend the weekend up in smogville.

Interesting there are no pics of either Rob or Kristen over weekend. Let’s hope they were supersecret together, just like they were in S.D.

Vampire star Kristen Stewart has been pictured smoking a cannabis pipe in broad daylight.

The 18-year-old, who stars in the teen blockbuster Twilight, was seen lighting up the pipe as she and a her boyfriend Michael Angarano sat barefoot on the steps of her Los Angeles home.

Wearing sweat pants and a vest top, the star looked chilled as she shared the bong with her actor boyfriend.

A source told the News of the World: ‘Kristen loves sharing a pipe with friends and sees nothing wrong with it. That’s how they enjoy themselves.

In Twilight Kristen plays Bella Swan, who falls for Vampire Edward Cullen, played by British actor Robert Pattinson.

The film grossed more than £42million in its first weekend in the U.S. and looks set to be a huge success when it’s released in the UK on December 19.
