Hollywood actress Kate Bosworth is feeling washed up and old at age 25, because of Hollywood’s obsession with age.The Superman Returns actress claims she suffered a “quarter-century” crisis when she reached the landmark on January 2nd. She says, “Whenever I said before that I was 21 or 22, everyone would say, ‘Oh, see, you’re so young.’ And all of a sudden, you hit 25, and people say, ‘Oh, right, uh, OK.’ And you’re like, ‘Uh, what do you mean?’”

Okay, I know I already posted that the Worst Dressed Celeb of the Day was Raven-Symone, but then I saw this mess. Kate Bosworth handily dons an extra-large, futuristic silver scrubby sponge, and swipes the Worst Dressed title right away from Raven-Symone.

I’ve been contemplating having a contest for Worst Dressed Celeb of the Month, picked from the entire month’s winners, that you readers could vote on. I have no idea what the celeb winner would get, except the recognition that they really can’t dress themselves for s**t. But they don’t need a prize anyway. They make too much money for being pretty.

I’ve always found that if you truly want to hear an interesting story about a celebrity, ask one of their co-stars — such is the case with Kate Bosworth. In the April issue of Marie Claire (on stands on March 18) the mag turns to Kate’s 21 co-star Josh Gad to get the goods on Miss B. “Kate can drink anyone under the table. Get a couple in her, and she’s definitely a very fun and crazy girl,” he says.

Josh explains: “We went out on St. Patrick’s Day. Not only did she pick the place, but she picked the rowdiest place. And it’s like, ‘OK, she’s one of us! Let’s get s***-faced!’ But Kate is always one step ahead of you. She had a blast, and everybody was just enamored of the fact that there’s a superstar singing and dancing and going nuts. But she was also the first one to be like, ‘OK, I’m out of here.’”

On love:
“Orlando and I were both in the public eye. So this [current] relationship [with model James Rousseau] has been a little easier that way. And I feel like I’m in a different stage of my life, to be honest. With Orlando, we were younger.”

On getting older:

“I was at lunch. And some of the makeup artists, her mother and she were at the table across from us. They kept screwing around — whispering to each other, looking at me. I knew they were trying to f*** with me. Then Kate came over and was leaning over my table. I really wasn’t paying attention to her. And she kept saying, ‘Dana look, Dana look, Dana, hey Dana.’ So I turned around, and I’m like, ‘What?’ And she’s like, ‘Look.’ Her nipple was sticking out her shirt right in my face.”

Kate Bosworth is on a venture overseas, getting a bit of a fashion fix in Beijing, China, of all places.

The 24-year-old actress, who made the trip with the accompaniment of her model boyfriend James Rousseau, is in the Orient mecca for the Great Wall of China fashion show.
