Brody Jenner may be known as a Hollywood hunk with a habit of club-hopping and playing the field, but those days are over, he says – now that he’s dating Playboy’s 2008 Playmate of the Year, Jayde Nicole.

“We’re completely smitten for each other,” Jenner, 25, said. “I’m loving life.”

The couple, who’ve known each other (through one of Jenner’s exes) for more than two years, had a bit of a false start when Jenner asked Nicole, 22, to meet him at a San Diego club, where he was hosting an event, and she didn’t show up.

“I was totally heartbroken,” he says. “I was very upset because I had a crush on her.”

Now, they’re a couple and Jenner attributes their success to knowing each other for so long. “The reason why I love this girl so much is because she knows me,” he says. “She gets it … She knows my background.”

Traveled Together
Making time to travel, the pair have visited St. Thomas, Hawaii and the Bahamas. “She’s a great travel partner,” he says.

Back in L.A., the Bromance star says they’re more likely to stay at home than hit the clubs. “We stay in, maybe bake cookies,” he says. “It sounds kind of lame, I know – sorry, boys! – but we bake some cookies, watch DVDs and have nice quality home time.”

“It’s a change in my life, but it’s a good change,” Jenner says.

And it’s not the only one. Jenner said, “[For the New Year], I completely quit drinking and I’ve been working out every day and eating the healthiest I’ve ever eaten my entire life.”

Inspired by his girlfriend – “She’s in amazing, amazing shape,” he boasts – Jenner says he feels “incredible,” doesn’t think about alcohol and doesn’t want to drink again. “But I have to on Feb. 19,” he says. “It’s my lady’s birthday.”

What else does he have planned? “I want to do something very special for her,” he says, after getting the perfect Christmas gift from her: a custom surfboard, emblazoned with a photo from her Playmate of the Year spread and the Playboy Bunny logo.

“She’s naked but it’s very artistic,” Jenner says. “It’s black and white. It looks incredible.”

Brody Jenner is so hot, he even makes straight guys cry.

In Bromance, Jenner’s new MTV reality show—in which nine young guys compete to replace his former best friend Spencer Pratt to become the newest member of his posse—most of the contestants end up in tears.

Jenner tells me things got particularly weepy during some one-on-one time.

“I did this whole sit-down with these guys, which we called Broprah,” Jenner tells me. “I was sitting around and would say, ‘OK, now tell me about…’ and then all of a sudden it got to be like, ‘Whoa!’ We’re uncovering some deep stuff. These big, grown guys are sitting around crying over being friends with a dude.”
During a group chat, Jenner says, “We started to get into family things and everybody started crying. I’m sitting there and you know when everybody around you is crying, how do you not cry? It was hard not to. So there was one time I almost shed a tear.”

Jenner purposely put his wannabe buddies into some compromising and rather uncomfortable situations because he thinks it forced them to show their true characters. For instance, the elimination takes place as they sit knee to knee in a hot tub. “It’s kind of homoerotic and I love people saying that,” Jenner says in all seriousness, adding, “I’m cool with my sexuality and the gender that I like and I have a beautiful girlfriend. That’s why I feel so comfortable with having these awkward guy moments.”

The winner of the show not only becomes a member of Jenner’s posse (along with Frankie Delgado and Sleazy T) but also gets a rent-free apartment for a year at L.A.’s posh 717 Olympic building.

Same-Sex Spoiler Alert: There is a token gay guy among the competitors, Michael, but the poor sap never even made it to the first elimination round. In the premiere episode, airing Dec. 29, Michael is shown packing his bags and leaving the frat house (where else do you think they would live?) shortly after filming. He explained to Jenner he was disappointed to find that Bromance was more Animal House than The Hills.

“He was really excited about being on the show,” Sleazy T says of Michael. “He got really groomed.”

So groomed that Delgado nicknamed him Eyebrow Mike, a moniker the eyebrow-plucked Michael apparently didn’t appreciate.

“He was waxed and all ready to go,” Jenner says, “but he thought he was going to meet Lauren Conrad.”

With a little help from his sidekick on “The Hills,” Frankie Delgado. Our spy overheard Delgado in Washington Square Park Wednesday clueing his playboy pal in on who the woman chatting with them was. “A cute blonde walked up to them, and Brody looked confused as to who she was,” said our source. But then Delgado told him, ‘You slept with her in Cabo.’ ” Could you ask for more in a wing man?

Think Spencer Pratt is bad?

He’s nothing compared to his sister Stephanie.

So says Brody Jenner.

“She’s a million times worse!” Jenner, 24, told Usmagazine.com at Ryan Sheckler’s X Games Celebrity Golf Tournament in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, on Tuesday.

All along, Jenner has warned Lauren Conrad not to trust Stephanie, 22.

And in a new trailer for season four of The Hills, Stephanie is seen having a candlelit dinner with Conrad’s man, baseball player Doug Reinhardt.

Stephanie has denied it was a date (”he was giving me boy advice,” she recently told E!).

But Jenner said he doesn’t buy it.

“He might not have known that it was a date, but she had candles, and they were alone!” Jenner said. “It was a date.”

BRODY Jenner isn’t going to party where there aren’t any girls. The reality show regular hit six Chicago bars in less than two hours the other night after hosting a party at a local Irish pub, McFadden’s. “He was swigging Grey Goose vodka straight from the bottle and looked practically comatose,” said a source. “The bar smelled awful, and girls in tube tops were swarm ing all over him.” Jenner also hit club Underground and ended his night at Rino. “But he left quickly because it was filled with all men,” laughed our spy. A rep for Brody did not return a call for comment.

Hills star Brody Jenner didn’t quite seem like the settling kind. From his on-again, off-again romance with Hills costar Lauren Conrad, to his most recent relationship to model Cora Skinner, PEOPLE has confirmed the two have recently split and Jenner is a single man yet again.

This past weekend, Jenner showed up with a new woman on his arm (who wasn’t Skinner) at the Wrigley-sponsored NBA Entertainment League Season Wrap party in L.A. Says an eyewitness: “He was holding hands with a cute blonde. They rushed inside but he held her hand on the carpet and when they were waiting to get in. They were cute, she was definitely his date for the day.”

Jenner’s BFF Frankie Delgado wasn’t very shy about sharing his buddies new single status. “He was shouting, ‘Brody’s single,’ ” says a an onlooker.

A source tells People.com, “She likes him. It’s early, but they are more than friends.
