Thanks to his new hit, the joke’s not over for Kanye West.
After his new collaboration with Jay-Z “H.A.M.” hit No. 2 on iTunes, the controversial rapper took to Twitter to joke around with another blonde pop tart with the same line that made millions watching the VMAs cringe more than a year ago.
“Yo Britney,” he tweeted on Friday. “I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z single is one of the best songs of all time.”
The tweet wasn’t the first time West made fun of his interruption of Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 VMAs that derailed his career for a bit and sent him into hiding for a few months before he reemerged, seemingly strong as ever.
In a free track he posted last summer, he finished the song “Uncle Charlie, by the way, and I’ma let you finish, but I got Beyonce on the track.”
While the tweet to Spears was caught in a screengrab by popeater.com, West apparently received enough backlash from the apparently not-funny-yet joke that he took it down on Friday.

“On a serious note, I’m truly happy for @AvrilLavigne and @BritneySpears … No hate in 2011!” he tweeted.
“I thought LOL signified a joke … I didn’t get the 2011 LOL doesn’t signify a joke anymore memo … LOL or something else I guess,” he added.
On Spears’ Twitter account, her manager Adam Leber, tweeted back at West, “Thanks for “letting” us be #1. Much appreciated …”
West’s and Jay-Z’s single was the first from the duo’s upcoming album “Watch The Throne” which is set to be released in March.

“The Social Network” keeps making friends, winning the Critics’ Choice award for best picture and three other prizes.
But “Inception” led all films Friday night with six awards total, all in technical categories.
Best actor went to Colin Firth for his portrayal of King George VI, who overcame a stammer with the help of an unconventional speech therapist, in “The King’s Speech,” while Natalie Portman won best actress for playing a ballerina who descends into madness in “Black Swan.”
“The Social Network,” which chronicles the origin of Facebook, also won for David Fincher’s direction, Aaron Sorkin’s adapted screenplay and the score from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
The boxing drama “The Fighter” won in three categories: supporting actor Christian Bale, supporting actress Melissa Leo and best ensemble.
But from a numerical standpoint, “Inception” was the big winner of the night. Christopher Nolan’s psychological dream thriller won for cinematography, art direction, editing, visual effects, sound and best action movie.
The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, bestowed by the Broadcast Film Critics Association, were given out at the Hollywood Palladium.
Among the other winners, “Toy Story 3″ was named best animated film, “Waiting for ‘Superman’” took the documentary prize, “Easy A” won best comedy and “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” was the foreign-language winner. Hailee Steinfeld won the best young actor or actress award for her film debut in the Coen brothers’ version of “True Grit.”
The front-runner this awards season, “The Social Network” has won top honors from several critics groups, including those in New York and Los Angeles and the National Society of Film Critics. It’s up for six Golden Globe Awards Sunday night, while “The King’s Speech” leads with seven nominations. Both are competing for best drama.

The actress and fashion designer – who, alongside her identical twin sister Mary-Kate, was recently ranked as the 11th richest woman in entertainment with a combined wealth of $100 million – was spotted trying to unsuccessfully get a deal when purchasing some flowers in Hollywood.
An onlooker explained to National Enquirer magazine: “She was checking out flowers at Moe’s Flowers in West Hollywood which were on sale for $12 for 10 plants. But that wasn’t enough for Ashley, who had the nerve to ask, ‘Can I have these for a dollar each?’
“After being told, ‘Sorry, there’s no haggling here’. She replied, ‘But they’re not the finest quality’, while plucking off dead leaves. The guy then insisted Ashley either pay full price or forget it so she coughed up the 12 bucks.”
It could be that the 24-year-old star is saving up for a designer handbag, as she recently admitted she can’t wait to get her hands on a Crocodile Birkin bag made by French luxury group Hermes.
She said: “The next one I want to get is the crocodile Birkin, but that won’t be for a while. Crocodile is my favorite!”

“Octomom” Nadya Suleman was addicted to having children when she gave birth to octuplets in 2009 and called herself “stupid” for allowing herself to get into huge debt, she told “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in an episode that aired Friday.
Suleman, who has been plagued with money problems and threatened with eviction from her Southern California home, appeared on Winfrey’s show for a financial intervention from money guru Suze Orman.
“I think I could’ve been self-medicating through children,” Suleman said. “Kids are safer. Kids won’t leave you. Kids will give me the unconditional acceptance and love that I didn’t feel I got from my mother.”
Suleman said she felt a “hole” after six kids and wanted more, but that after 14 kids the hole was still there.
“If I knew then what I know now, I would not have said, ‘Doctor, one more,’” Suleman said.
When Suleman said she paid for in vitro fertilization through savings, to which Orman replied: “Lie, lie, lie!”
Orman said she had seen Suleman’s finances and insisted she had borrowed the money.
She heatedly urged Suleman to give up private school and excessive gifts for her children, and a personal trainer and manicures for herself.

“It makes me want to throw up thinking about it,” Suleman said in response. “I am so stupid. I am so stupid.”
Orman urged Suleman to get an agent and look into doing more television and other media with her children as she did in the months after they were born, something Suleman said she would no longer do for fears that she would be perceived as crazy or was exploiting her children.
“They already think you’re crazy,” Orman said.
Suleman has a $4,000 mortgage payment due on Feb. 1, and is months overdue on a $450,000 balloon payment.
Steven Hirsch, co-founder of adult film company Vivid Entertainment, has offered to pay her February mortgage while he considers buying the La Habra home. Suleman has not commented on the offer.

At a time when the country is facing an obesity epidemic, the problem of nutrition inadequacy is often overlooked. Yet, many Americans are overweight and undernourished, concludes a new study called “What America’s Missing.”
The new research, which analyzed government food consumption survey data, indicates that nine out of 10 Americans fall short of key nutrients in their diets – shortages that could put their health at risk. The report identifies a total of 11 “gap nutrients,” including calcium, vitamin D and potassium – three of the “nutrients of concern” identified in the 2010 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee’s report.
Closing the Gap
To help close the nation’s nutrient gap, the National Milk Mustache “got milk?”® Campaign is launching an education initiative today on 1-11-11 to showcase the power of “pouring one more” with the help of actress, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and mom-of-three Susan Sarandon. Sarandon appears in a new milk commercial airing today, directed by noted actor-director Tony Goldwyn. She also dons a milk mustache in her own “got milk?” print ad that debuts January 12 in Parenting Magazine. Both ads encourage moms to “Pour One More” serving of milk to help ensure their families get the nutrients they need. The print copy says:
Easy act to follow. 9 out of 10 Americans aren’t getting the essential nutrients we need. That’s a serious gap. But just one more serving of nutrient-rich milk a day for you and your family can help fill it. Sometimes the smallest acts make the biggest difference. So, pour one more.
“Moms have tremendous power to influence the family’s behavior, and that’s particularly true when it comes to what they eat and drink,” said Sarandon. “It’s extremely concerning to me to see the large numbers of people who aren’t getting adequate nourishment every day. I want moms to know that by simply pouring one more serving of milk a day they’re doing something positive that can help correct some of these shortages and bridge the nutrient gap.”
A serving of milk offers nine essential nutrients and is the single greatest source of calcium and vitamin D in the American diet – no other food contributes more of these essential nutrients.

One Million Servings to Help America “Pour One More”
In addition to the new ads, America’s milk processors will be helping moms “pour one more” by giving away more than a million servings of milk this month at events from coast to coast and online at WhyMilk.com. Families can enter for a chance to win a free year of milk for themselves as well as for a family in need through a partnership with Feeding America. The website also features exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from Sarandon’s ad shoot, her advice on building a strong family and additional details from the “What America’s Missing” research report.
The Great American Nutrient Gap
Potassium, fiber, vitamin D and calcium suffer the widest gap with the greatest number of Americans falling short of daily recommendations among the identified 11 gap nutrients, according to the report. Vitamins A, B6 and B-12, zinc, folate, magnesium and iron round out the list.
“The nation’s nutrient shortages are directly linked to the under-consumption of the specific foods and beverages that supply these nutrients, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lowfat milk,” said New York-based registered dietitian Elisa Zied, MS, RD, CDN, author of Feed Your Family Right! and Nutrition at Your Fingertips. “It’s not that difficult to make a few simple changes to fix these widespread shortages. That’s why I like the concept of just ‘pouring one more.’ It’s a small, achievable change that could make a big difference.”
“Milk, in particular, is something that’s likely already in your refrigerator,” Zied said. “So it’s not too difficult to think about adding just one more serving a day. Also, the idea of ‘pouring one more’ can be accomplished in several ways – whether you’re filling up a glass with lowfat milk, adding it to cereal or oatmeal, drinking a latte or making a smoothie.”
Milk in America
On average, Americans today are drinking only about a single serving of milk each day – falling far short of the recommended three 8-ounce servings of lowfat or fat free milk and milk products (or two servings for children ages eight and younger). The milk gap starts around age nine and continually gets wider, especially among adolescent girls and women. Overall, eight out of 10 Americans are not consuming the recommended amount of milk, and consequently, are missing out on the nutrients it provides.
Milk is naturally nutrient-rich like no other beverage. Thanks to milk’s unique nutrient package, pouring even just one more serving each day would shrink the gap for 10 of the 11 gap nutrients as defined in the study, and completely close the gap for calcium, vitamin B-6 and vitamin B-12.
In addition, milk is the single greatest source of calcium, vitamin D and potassium in the American diet – no other food contributes more of these essential nutrients. Milk provides nearly a quarter of America’s calcium and nearly half of the vitamin D in our diets.

“Pour One More” and Help Families In Need
The “Pour One More” campaign is encouraging Americans to raise awareness of the nutrient gap and help families in need by passing a virtual glass of milk to friends on Facebook (Facebook.com/MilkMustache). For every virtual glass passed, $1 will go to Feeding America (up to $150,000). Feeding America is the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization which feeds more than 37 million people facing hunger in this country.
The campaign also will give away more than one million servings of milk and offer a chance for families to win a year’s worth of milk by signing up at WhyMilk.com. For every one of the 120 winning families, a year’s supply of free milk will go to a family in need, as well.
