Once a cheater, always a cheater?

Not Jesse James, says his new flame Kat von D.

The tattoo artist who has been cozying up to Sandra Bullock’s ex told an L.A. radio show she isn’t worried the bad boy biker will repeat his adulterous past, UsMagazine.com reports.

“I’m a believer that we’re all human and we’re all capable of making mistakes,” Von D said on the Kevin & Bean radio show Thursday.

“I think if I were to be crucified for my drug addiction three years ago now, it would be hard to live with that. I’m sober now, and it’s awesome. But I have made mistakes, too…I’ve got a lot of respect for Jesse and how he handled it.”

Earlier this week, Von D Tweeted and deleted that she and James were in a relationship, following reports they shared an intimate dinner together in Las Vegas over the weekend.

After writing, “Yes, Jesse and I are dating” on Wednesday, Von D deleted the message from her page, but not before it had spread across the Internet.

Though the 28-year-old star of TLC’s LA Ink has decided to play coy about their romantic status, she did admit the connection has been brewing for years.

“I’ve known Jesse since I was 22, actually. We’ve always been friends,” she said on the show. “He had his show on Discovery; that’s how we met. I was looking for some advice when I first started on Miami Ink.”

And though she bears a striking physical resemblance to many of the tattooed women who claimed to be James’ mistresses during his split from Bullock, Von D says her ink isn’t an indication of their compatibility.

“Just because I have tattoos doesn’t mean, ‘Oh, you guys are a perfect match,’” she said. “I think that I’m his type on a different level than people would assume.”

Meanwhile, Bullock made a point to distance herself from the tabloid frenzy surrounding her ex.

The Oscar-winning actress told People magazine this week that both she and Jesse have “moved on with our lives and only want the best for each other.”

In the September issue of Shape, Kristen Bell shares her fun—and totally doable—tips for feeling fit, strong, smart, creative, generous, and, above all, happy! The September issue of Shape hits news stands on August 23, 2010 – be sure to pick up a copy!

Check out some of the interview highlights below:

“Forgive me if I sound out of breath—I’m actually walking on the treadmill,” says Kristen Bell, on the phone from her home in Los Angeles. “I’m like a jackrabbit throughout the day and like to keep moving whenever I can. And this is better than just sitting on the couch for an hour, right?” This can-do attitude explains why she’s on SHAPE’s cover for the second time.

“I know SHAPE readers are always striving to find the next cool thing when it comes to diet and exercise, and I’m happy to share what I’ve learned.” On the eve of a milestone birthday—she’s 30—we spoke with Kristen and picked her brain about the practical but fun ways she keeps her mind, body, and spirit in tip-top shape.

Here are just a few…

Celebrate your age!
“I don’t subscribe to the idea that aging is a bad thing,” says Kristen. “I’m extremely optimistic about what lies ahead of me. Look at Glenn Close, Helen Mirren, and Meryl Streep: They’re the best at what they do, and beautiful too!”

Stay in tonight
Unless she has a premiere to attend, Kristen and her fiancé, Dax Shepard, prefer to hang out at home. “I have to do these events for my job, and I enjoy them, but on a daily basis, I’d rather get up early and go to bed early,” she says. “Our idea of an exciting night is cooking dinner for friends and playing board and card games. It may sound nerdy, but it’s fun!”

Save your pennies
Kristen’s always been thrifty. “I’m the only person I know who shows up at restaurants at 4:30 p.m. for the early bird special,” she admits. “One of my favorite websites is restaurants.com. You can get a $25 gift certificate for $10!”

Let words inspire you
“I leave stickies on my computer with quotes from Nelson Mandela and Abraham Lincoln to help me when I need a bit of motivation,” says Kristen.
“But I always go back to Eleanor Roosevelt’s words: ‘It’s better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.’ That literally applies to every part of our lives, doesn’t it?”

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress – whose father Michael has repeatedly insisted she has a problem with legal substances – has amazed doctors at the UCLA Medical Center with her responses to treatment, leading them to recommend she only stay in the facility for a maximum of 30 days, rather than the 90 days she was ordered to spend there by a court.

A source told X17online: “Lindsay may have taken prescription medication, but she doesn’t have ‘an addiction’.

“She’s been through detox, but had no withdrawal symptoms, so doctors don’t believe her issues were as serious as they were led to believe initially.”

In addition, the insider – who also revealed the actress’ former girlfriend Samantha Ronson visits her “four or five times a week” – says the 24-year-old star has been misdiagnosed with psychological problems, claiming Lindsay’s troubles stem from the difficult relationship her parents Dina and Michael have with one another.

The source added: “The only thing Lindsay suffers from is having two narcissistic parents and she fills the void by hooking up with destructive people and bad habits.

“Her mom Dina bad-talked Michael for so long that Lindsay and all her siblings ended up disliking him but she needed something to fill the father void, so she started acting out.”

A court hearing has been scheduled for August 25 to discuss whether Lindsay should be released from rehab early.

The troubled star was sentenced to 90 days in prison and a 90-day rehab stint for breaching the terms of her probation set for a 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) conviction.

She was released from jail after serving just 13 days on her sentence.

Former model Janice Dickinson begged pal Frank Ryan to replace his unsafe jeep in the days leading up to the celebrity plastic surgeon’s death on Monday.

Ryan lost control of the vehicle on his way back from a hike with his dog and drove over a cliff in Malibu, California, and now Dickinson, who attended a candlelit vigil for her pal earlier this week, has revealed she knew he’d be killed if he didn’t change his mode of transport.

She tells Access Hollywood, “I’m angry that he drove that Jeep Wrangler, which has a high suspension, on windy roads on the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway).

“I had told him to get rid of that car because you need a more stable car.”

Dickinson sobbed on the TV show as she was shown photos of the crash site and the picture of his dog which Ryan was reportedly sending to his Twitter.com page when he lost control of his car.

She added, “This is the picture that should keep us off the cellphones… Stay off the cellphones.”
