The actress, who was born in Cuba but raised in Venezuela, is pissed at Sean Penn for his public support of dictator Hugo Chavez.

Alonso wrote an open letter stating her opinion on the matter.

Here are some Highlights:

“Dear Sean
Even though I have great respect for your artistic talent, I was appalled by a recent television interview where you vigorously showed support for the regime of Hugo Chavez. Therefore, I’ve decided to set the record straight for you regarding the Chavez regime, supporting my case based not only on my political ideologies, but on proven facts you choose to ignore. Otherwise, I believe your position would be different.
Being born in Cuba, a country where freedom of speech is nonexistent, it’s startling to observe how Venezuela, where I was happily raised, is fast becoming Cuba’s mirror image: Dismantling of fundamental democratic rights deserved by its people and citizens of the world.
WHY do you validate a government that has converted Venezuela into the second most dangerous country in the world, where impunity is above 90% and its people live in a constant state of stress and fear of getting killed?
Sean, you have the right to say what you want, but as far as I know, your statements are contradictory to Freedom of Speech…My intention isn’t to convince you, but to let you know what is truly happening in this beautiful country of noble people, Venezuela. I would encourage you to investigate in depth the ‘inside story’ and realize for yourself the dark side behind the person you choose to idolize.
Agreed, Chavez did win his first elections, but like Hitler, he betrayed what the country gave him: The vote of confidence.”

You go, girl!

Maria continued to address several issues such as the supposed transparency of the Venezuela’s elections, violations by Chavez of the country’s constitution, his 92 percent control of media communications, his alleged anti-Semitism and the country’s escalating poverty rate.

Turns out when Jesse James was pulled over the other day and swindled his way out of a ticket, he told the police he was heading to rehab in Arizona!

Jesse James’ rep has confirmed that he has checked in to Sierra Tucson rehab facility:

“Jesse checked himself into a treatment facility to deal with personal issues. He realized that this time was crucial to help himself, help his family and help save his marriage.”

But wife Sandra Bullock isn’t impressed supposedly telling James that she wouldn’t stick by him during his rehab stint and “basically he’s the scum of the earth,” according to a source. The source continues:

“He is trying to show her he wants to recover. Sandra is tough and does not take humiliation well. It will take a lot more than Jesse going for a week to some clinic for her to even take him seriously.”

Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, the woman who allegedly had a torrid affair with Sandra Bullock’s husband Jesse James, posted a message on both her Twitter and Facebook accounts:

Michelle also seems to be living up to her reputation as a famewhore, bringing up how Angry White Boy clothing dropped her as a model:

Although we don’t know her name, another woman has come forward who claims to have also slept with Jesse James - and this one already has a lawyer!

Whore #4 has hired power attorney Gloria Allred and attests to having a several year affair with James, which she claims ended recently.

Allred states:
“I represent a beautiful model and businesswoman. She had a three year intimate relationship with Jesse James. He pursued her and had strong feeling for her. She is in the process of trying to decide if she will come forward. She has proof of their relationship including hundreds of text messages, emails and photos. The relationship JUST RECENTLY ENDED after the scandal broke.”

Former First Lady Barbara Bush was taken to the hospital on Saturday to undergo tests after feeling seriously under the weather!

Jean Becker, the former President George Bush’s chief of staff, claims that it’s nothing serious and “this is definitely just in for tests.” She is expected to be released within the next few days.

We sincerely hope that it is nothing serious and she has a speedy recovery!!

Actor Chris O’Donnell has always considered himself to be a regular guy. However, judging from his outstanding career, he’s anything but regular. After his breakout role as Batman’s trusty sidekick in Batman Forever and Batman & Robin, O’Donnell now stars in the hit naval cop drama NCIS: Los Angeles.

In the May issue of Men’s Fitness, O’Donnell talks about how he maintains a regular life while achieving success in Hollywood. “I had so much success – a lot of failure, too,” he says in the issue. “I’ve been around the block so many times. I don’t think I fully appreciated how fortunate and rare it is for success to around.”
The actor also shares his age-defying fitness secrets and how he still has much to work on in order to physically match up to his NCIS: Los Angeles co-star, LL Cool J. “I’m about to turn 40, and I have to work hard to stay fit. Todd Smith [LL Cool J’s real name] has arms that are insane. Seriously, they’re as hard as that wall.”

On his struggle with Hollywood……”There’s been opportunities where I think, ‘Did I really work as hard as I could have?’ And for whatever reason, I didn’t – I won’t say on which projects-but now I’m doing everything I can to make [NCIS: Los Angeles] successful…I don’t want to look back and think I could have done this harder.”
