Finally bringing her Circus to an end, Britney Spears performed the last show of her tour at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, Australia on Sunday night (November 29).
The adoring crowd went crazy as an athletic and smiling Spears descended from the roof in a ring leader outfit to perform Circus.
The stage comprised of three circles and Spears utilised the space ensuring fans at all ends did not miss out.
Her dancing may not be at the level it was at the height of her career in early 2000 but the girl can move.
“What’s up Adelaide?’’ Spears asked the screaming crowd.
“How you feelin’?’’
For the one song she sang live she told the crowd she was “gonna slow things down with a ballad called Everytime’’.
But that’s about it in terms of her interaction with the crowd and she did leave the stage a fair bit for costume changes.
At least in Adelaide she added a final farewell for her loyal fans.
“Thank you so much Adelaide,’’ a smiling Spears told the audience as she left the stage.
“Thank you ladies and gentlemen.’’
Sporting a white blazer on top of black shirt, the singer entertained the concertgoers with “Wait Your Turn”, “Russian Roulette” and “Umbrella” on November 24.
In between the performances, Rihanna managed to have a chat with GMA host Robin Roberts. She joked about having wardrobe malfunction saying, “My dress … I guess I’m a little too fat right now … the zip busted. They wanted to stitch it up but I couldn’t.”
She also talked about her new album “Rated R”. She stated, “It came very natural only because it was my place of peace, being the studio just venting. It was the one place I didn’t feel judged or criticized. Every emotion went into that album.”
Rihanna’s “Rated R” has arrived in U.S. stores since November 23.

Hollywood power couple Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are heading to splitsville after a two-plus-year romance, reports said Sunday.
A source close to the “Legally Blonde” actress claimed the two have broken up.
People magazine reported the purported split in an item on its Web site that included no further details.
The revelation triggered immediate denials from representatives of the two movie stars.
“It is not true,” Nanci Ryder and Carrie Byalick, who rep Witherspoon and Gyllenhaal, respectively, told People. “They are still together.”
Witherspoon, 33, and Gyllenhaal, 28, reportedly met while starring in the 2007 movie “Rendition.”
Rumors about their romance were confirmed by the summer of 2008, when they were spotted vacationing together in France and Morocco.

“He’s very supportive. Suffice it to say, I’m very happy in life,” Witherspoon told Vogue magazine last fall, referring to the “Brokeback Mountain” star.
As recently as last month, Witherspoon, who won a 2006 Best Actress Academy Award for her role in “Walk The Line,” dished to InStyle magazine about their weekends in a farmhouse outside Los Angeles.
“We have chickens and we grow cucumbers and tomatoes. I love it,” she said.
Witherspoon has two children from a seven-year marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe that ended in 2006.

Jennifer Lopez took a spill during her performance at Sunday’s 2009 American Music Awards. While performing her new song ‘Louboutins’ at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre on Sunday, she climbed a stair of dancers and jumped off.
Jennifer Lopez says her accidental tumble wasn’t an accident at all.
During an interview on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM radio show this morning, J. Lo explained that falling during her gig was all part of the plan.
She said, “Did I trip a little bit? I don’t even remember. Yeah, I meant to do that. That was part of the choreography.”
“The measure of things isn’t what happens when you fall, it’s how you recover when you fall. It was fun, it was really fun. It was nice to be back on stage and doing my thing.”

After Rachel Uchitel ran into trouble, she did what plenty of scandal-scarred women have done before her: She ran right to Gloria Allred.
Allred, the self-described “most famous woman attorney in the nation,” has represented women in some of Tinsletown’s biggest cases.
Now she’s taken in Uchitel, a Manhattan club hostess who the National Enquirer claims had an affair with golf legend Tiger Woods.
Dressed to the nines in one of her signature designer suits, the 68-year-old lawyer greeted Uchitel at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday with a hug.
But that soft touch was misleading. Known for her no-holds-barred press conferences, Allred is a tiger in the court of public opinion.
“I don’t think there’s been a high-profile case she didn’t like,” said Loyola Law School Prof. Stan Goldman, who has known Allred for decades.
“She’s the rainmaker. Her name and reputation bring in the clients. She’s a publicity machine, and you can’t underestimate the skills of her team,” Goldman said.
Allred got her start taking on the Beverly Hills Friars Club for discrimination, and she’s a master at making sometimes unsympathetic women look like victims of a sexist society or manipulative men.
Allred represented Amber Frey, who had an affair with married murderer Scott Peterson, Bill Clinton harassment victim Paula Jones and the family of Nicole Brown Simpson during the O.J. trial.
She took on Eddie Murphy when former Spice Girl Mel B. retained her in their paternity case and was hired by Heather Mills after the ex-model took a beating in the press in her divorce from Paul McCartney.
Not all Allred’s cases are made for the tabloids. She’s on the team working to repeal California’s Proposition 8, which banned gay marriage in the Golden State.
Her brassy style have made her the butt of jokes on shows like “Family Guy” and “South Park,” where she is depicted as a shrilly and flamboyant meddler.
Allred did not return phone calls yesterday.
But she said in an e-mail to The Associated Press she and her new client “plan to meet and then we’ll decide on the next step, which we do not plan to announce to the press.”

Rihanna continues to push the fashion boundaries, appearing in a body suit that looked like a number of bandages strung together while performing “Hard” and “Wait Is Over” at the American Music Awards Sunday night.
The singer left little to the imagination in the peekaboo, body hugging ensemble with a low cut neck line and futuristic white shoulder pads that shot out red laser lights.
