After Tony Romo callously dumped Jessica Simpson the night before her 29th birthday, he made sure his ex wouldn’t be able to get near his Dallas home.
The new issue of Us Weekly, on stands now, reports the Dallas Cowboys quarterback instructed security to keep Simpson out of his gated community.
A sign at the entrance reads: “RED ALERT!!! TONY ROMO HAS MADE SOME CHANGES TO HIS LIST OF PEOPLE ALLOWED IN….JESSICA IS NO LONGER ON THE LIST AND NOT APPROVED FOR ACCESS.
(Simpson didn’t exactly want to stick around: The singer paid $19,000 on July 15 to ship 37 boxes worth of her belongings from Dallas to L.A. overnight, a source tells Us.)
After the the couple — who began dating in November 2007 — called it quits earlier this month, a pal of Romo told Us: “It’s been a long time coming.”
Still, Cowboy teammates were surprised.
I thought they would…tie the knot,” Terrell Owens, who slammed Simpson for being a “jinx,” told Ryan Seacrest.
Meanwhile, Simpson has been working out again with a personal trainer in L.A. (she famously packed on pounds right before splitting from John Mayer and Nick Lachey), and going on movie dates with her mom and girlfriends.
So who is next in line for Tony Romo? Will he go with another celebrity, a model or just a regular chick this time around?

Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have split, her rep confirmed.
“Nobody cheated,” a source close to the couple says. “This is just a case of conflicting schedules and their lives going in different directions.
“It was a totally mutual decision,” continues the source.
The reality star, 28, began dating Bush, 24, the running back for the New Orleans Saints, in April 2007.
In June of this year, she denied rumors of an engagement, as falsely reported by tabloid Star.
“I am not engaged!” she wrote on her Web site. “The rumors about me picking out my ring already are also not true! I don’t know where all this comes from!!”
But last December, she told Us “of course, I would say yes!” if Bush proposed.
When asked about marriage, Kardashian said then: “We are totally happy, and we have a great relationship, and it’s definitely where things are heading. But hopefully it will be a surprise!”

Looks like the lovebug has taken its last bite. At least when it comes to Joe Jonas and Camilla Belle.
With rumors running rampant around the Internet that the middle JoBro and his 10,000 B.C. babe had called it quits, Camilla’s rep tells E! News that she and Joe are, in fact, no longer making beautiful music together…
“Yes, it’s true, they have broken up,” says Brad Cafarelli. “There is no third party involved, and they care deeply about each other and will remain friends.”
The unfortunate news comes on the heels of older bro Kevin’s recent announcement that he’s engaged.

Hell hath no fury like a Beverly Hills housewife scorned!
Candy Spelling has a bone to pick with daughter Tori Spelling – and she’s telling the world about it.
Spelling is no stranger to publicly addressing personal issues with her 36-year-old daughter, who stars in the Oxygen reality show “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood” with husband Dean McDermott.
Spelling, 63, previously made an emotional plea to reconnect with her daughter on her Web site in 2007.
Spelling addressed her rant to “middle-aged reality show stars (like my daughter)” in an open letter sent to TMZ.com.
“I know many middle-aged people have issues about their parents and their upbringing. I did. My memories didn’t match all those of my mother, and, funny thing, it’s the same way with my daughter,” Spelling wrote.
She continued, “My daughter, Tori’s, two-part season finale revolves around my granddaughter’s first birthday party and how she has made what seems like an agonizing decision to invite me.”
Tori and Dean, 42, threw their daughter Stella a ladybug-themed party, which included celebrity guests Melissa Joan Hart, Lisa Rinna, Harry Hamlin, Scott Baio and Larry Birkhead, on June 6, People.com reports.
Spelling said she received an invitation to her granddaughter’s birthday party, but it arrived just before the RSVP deadline.
“A big party wasn’t how I envisioned meeting my granddaughter for the first time; but, hey, this is Hollywood, and my grandchildren have become reality show props, too,” Spelling said. “At the time I emailed ‘yes,’ I didn’t realize I was being set up for a two-parter, even though it was clear I was being invited to be part of a segment for my daughter’s reality show.”
Despite initially agreeing to attend the soiree, Spelling was a no-show.
“I decided my first meeting with my granddaughter should be on home video, not primetime cable; so I emailed that I would not be attending,” Spelling said.
While Spelling never pursued an acting career, she did learn a thing or two from her late producer husband Aaron Spelling.
“Plots have to be fresh and updated,” she said. “The same old whining gets tired after a while. Enough complaining about what may or may not have happened during first grade or YMCA camp, or what vegetable you were forced to endure, especially when you are privileged enough to be on TV and get paid for it.”
Spelling’s dig refers to Tori’s extravagant upbringing which consisted of designer-made Halloween costumes and living in the 123-room Spelling Manor in Beverly Hills.
The opinionated author adds, “Please remember that real life doesn’t get edited to make things better or worse or get better ratings. You’re responsible for what you do. Life isn’t just a show. And your families can’t just be props. Make your own season finale without creating conflicts you will regret later.”

A-Rod went 0-for-4 Saturday – but he made it to first base anyway.
The randy Yankees slugger and stunning actress Kate Hudson put on a very public display of affection for the first time, locking lips during the team’s annual family picnic.
Hudson, 33, was also spotted giving Rodriguez a big squeeze as the lovestruck pair canoodled following the Bombers’ loss to the Oakland A’s.
A-Rod’s focus wasn’t just on his flaming hot new gal pal. The Yankees star also spent time playing with daughters Ella, 1, and Natasha, 4, who were dressed in their Yankees best.
Notably absent from the family fest was A-Rod’s ex-wife, Cynthia Rodriguez, whom he divorced last fall.
The very public smooching puts to rest rumors that Rodriguez, 33, and Hudson are just close friends.
Hudson, the daughter of Goldie Hawn, is believed to have met A-Rod last November in Miami.
Since then, she has been spotted slipping into Rodriguez’s swanky midtown pad and cheering him on from the front row at several Yankees games.
The couple was first photographed together two weeks ago in Beverly Hills.
In recent years, A-Rod’s exploits off the field have garnered as much attention as his slugging.
His rumored conquests include Madonna and a Las Vegas stripper, with whom he was photographed in a Toronto hotel two years ago while he was still married.

A 25-year-old Allentown, Pa. woman and former contestant on the television show American Idol was struck by a car and killed in Seaside Heights early Saturday morning in an apparent homicide, authorities said.
Alexis Cohen was found dead at the edge of Dupont Avenue near Bay Boulevard at about 4 a.m., said Deputy Chief Michael Mohel of the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.
A driver and passenger noticed Cohen and called 911, Mohel said. Seaside Heights First Aid workers transported her to Community Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 6:30 a.m., he said.
An autopsy conducted Saturday afternoon revealed chest and abdominal injuries and a closed head injury caused by collision with a vehicle, Mohel said.
Police found Cohen’s car in a parking lot 300 yards away, Mohel said.
Cohen auditioned for the seventh season of American Idol in Philadelphia in August of 2007, and the episode aired in January 2008. In it, she claimed “”I march to the beat of a different drummer.”
Videos of the angry rant she gave after being rejected by judges were widely circulated on the Internet. Cohen returned to audition for the eighth season of the show, but again failed to make it to the second round of judging.
Mohel said anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Investigator Carlos Trujillo-Tovar of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office at 732-929-2027 or Detective Steve Korman of the Seaside Heights Police at 732-973-1800.

LeAnn Rimes opened up about relationships gone wrong during her performance at the Deer Valley Music Festival in Utah Saturday night.
“It is inevitable that sometimes in a relationship, you will have your heart broken,” said the singer, who has been separated from her husband of seven years, Dean Sheremet.
“Sometimes you don’t do anything, but sometimes you want revenge. Sometimes you don’t, and that’s when you just leave it in God’s hands and know that He will take care of it,” she said before breaking into her song, “God Takes Care of Your Kind.”
Rimes, 26, was not wearing her wedding ring on stage.
On Saturday, a source told Us Rimes and Sheremet are “leading separate lives…but still in each other’s lives as best friends. They are not divorcing yet, but working though things and taking time apart…while they figure things out.”
Sheremet posted on Twitter shortly after: “Thanks to everyone for all the support through a very difficult time!”
The separation news comes the same week Us Weekly reports Rimes is still carrying on an affair with Eddie Cibrian. (Us first broke the news of their relationship in March.)
Cibrian’s wife, Brandi Glanville, confirms to Us she left him as a result.
“Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart,” says Glanville, mother of Mason, 6, and Jake, 2. “I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn [Rimes] deserve each other.”
