Looks like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are better actors than some of you give them credit for.
After plenty of awkward interaction at Comic-Con last week, it was almost too obvious that Rob and Kristen were being told to stay the hell away from each other.
So how did Robsten spend some much deserved free time Wednesday night before their crazy day on Thursday?
We hear from well-placed sources that Rob and Kristen were “together” Wednesday night, happy at last, on the 11th floor of the über-hip Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.
“They were so private,” dish our in-the-know eyes. “They were hardly seen by anyone. Their people made sure of that. But [Rob and Kristen] were there. They had a secret entrance to the hotel and everything.”
Well, we were at the Hard Rock, too, and we can assure you all Robsten was nowhere to be seen in any of the common areas.
“Who knows their specific sleeping arrangements, but [Rob and Kristen] were on the same hotel floor.”
Too dee-lish. And remember how we told you Rob was given a bit of a break before heading back to New York to finish filming Remember Me? He was supposed to stay down in San Diego Thursday night, too, but instead, Rob decided to head back up to L.A. early…with Kristen!
The San Diego airport is literally 10 minutes from the H.R. hotel. That’s why Rob flew straight into S.D. Wednesday from NYC. Couldn’t possibly imagine why he would choose to depart out of LAX instead and spend the weekend up in smogville.
Interesting there are no pics of either Rob or Kristen over weekend. Let’s hope they were supersecret together, just like they were in S.D.

Amy Winehouse allegedly stole cocaine from Kate Moss’s handbag, her ex-husband has claimed.
Blake Fielder-Civil said they were partying with the supermodel in New York when Winehouse went into her purse and pocketed two grammes of the drug.
They were mingling with other models and Hollywood stars in a private suite at the city’s Gramercy Park Hotel.
He said: ‘Kate had told Amy to get a $10 note out of her handbag to snort lines with.
‘But Amy told me she found two grammes of cocaine in there – so she nicked them.
‘We did some in the toilets and had sex, but we did the rest in front of everyone.’
And he added that Moss, 35, was ’so drunk she never noticed it was missing’.
Fielder-Civil, 27, who married Winehouse, 25, in May 2007 but divorced her 11 days ago, also said his ex got addicted to heroin immediately after her first hit of the drug.
He said she first tried the Class A drug during one of their ‘mad nights’ in an east London hotel room in 2006 after watching him take it.
‘We had a bottle of pink champagne and had sex and were lying on the bed talking. I’d been smoking heroin on my own before that but never in front of her,’ he said.
‘I got a bit for myself and she looked at me and said, “can I have some?” I was out of my mind on drugs and I said, “of course”.
‘She inhaled the heroin and then just sat back, smiled, and her eyes went a bit funny.
She said, “I can see why you take this”. Amy took to heroin like a duck to water.’
But Fielder-Civil, who claimed they spent up to £7,000 a week on drugs, said within a matter of weeks, she was begging him to buy more, before she allegedly moved on to crack cocaine.
Kate Moss was unavailable for comment.
Fielder-Civil was today reported to have been sent back to rehab after failing another drugs test. Failing a test is a breach of his parole terms.
He left prison in February after serving time for assault and trial-fixing.

The final chapter in the dramatic divorce between Terry Bollea and his estranged wife, Linda, played out in a Pinellas County courtroom Tuesday.
Attorneys for Terry and Linda Bollea announced that the two sides have reached a settlement in their divorce case.
No terms of the agreement were given.
According to sources close to the case, the couple reached an agreement before the hearing.
Terry Bollea, also known as famed wrestler Hulk Hogan, and Linda Bollea have been going through contentious divorce proceedings for almost the past two years.
During that time, the Hogans have argued over alimony payments, allowances, a Las Vegas condo and Linda’s alleged spending habits.

But the proceedings were civil on Tuesday, as all parties greeted each other with handshakes and Linda and Terry said hellos with kisses on the cheek.
Following the proceedings, Linda released this statement:
“My husband took the big step of stopping this escalating war by making the decision to put this behind us. I am grateful to him for realizing that our family can be happier and stronger by working together. He and I both love our family dearly and look forward to working together to make it stronger than it has ever been. My family means the world to me.”
The famous family has been in the spotlight more than ever since Linda and Terry’s son, Nick Bollea, crashed his car, seriously injuring John Graziano in August 2007.
The Hogans still face a civil lawsuit filed by the Graziano family.

Jon Gosselin has returned home to Pennsylvania to see his eight kids.
Jon, who was smoking a cigarette in most of the photos taken of him, was spotted Tuesday in Wernersville at a car wash, a UPS store and the bank.
Jon had been in New York City, where he recently snapped up a bachelor pad on the Upper West Side and where he found himself embroiled in more scandal.
He has been linked to two different women in two weeks: 22-year-old Hailey Glassman, the daughter of the plastic surgeon who performed Kate’s 2006 tummy tuck, and Star tabloid reporter Kate Major, who resigned over her relationship with Jon.
Jon now says he is single – and vowed to Usmagazine.com over the weekend that he wants to stay out of the headlines.
“It’s crazy,” he said. “I don’t want [8-year-old twins] Mady and Cara Googling me, and I have to explain [a photo] and lose that trust between my children. No, it’s dumb. Or explain it to my ex, Kate. Or explain to anybody what’s going on.”
l Zarin, the Bravo reality star who dined with Jon last week in the Hamptons, told Us Monday night that the 32-year-old father of eight is going through a lot.
Said Zarin, “He’s got a lot of figuring out to do.”

Kevin Federline turned heads at a California sporting event Monday.
But it wasn’t over his golfing skills; it was over his size.
At one point at Ryan Sheckler X Games Celebrity Classic, an employee on the grounds saw Federline and remarked, “Man, that’s a belly on him! That’s K-Fed?!?”
While other celebrities like Verne Troyer, Frankie Delgado and Josh Henderson participated in competitive activities, Federline, 31, spent some time with girlfriend Victoria Prince sitting on a shaded patio sipping vodka and orange juice cocktails and smoking cigarettes.
Federline underwent scrutiny after packing on major pounds last spring.
His ex Shar Jackson laughed off criticism.
“It’s daddy weight!” she said at the time. “When you are a full time parent, sometimes you can’t focus on you. If gaining a few pounds is your only problem, life’s not too bad!”

A slimmer looking Jennifer Love Hewitt was seen on Saturday at the Syfy and Entertainment Weekly’s Comic Con Celebration sponsored by SKYY Vodka. Upon arrival, Jennifer immediately visited the candy suite where she shoveled candy into a paper bag. She then snuggled up to Jamie Kennedy under one of the Moroccan canopies, where she shared a chair with him for the remainder of the night. The two were seen kissing and canoodling, all signs of a very much in love couple.

Michael Jackson’s personal doctor administered a powerful anesthetic to help him sleep, and authorities believe the drug is what killed the pop singer, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press on Monday.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing, said Jackson regularly received propofol to sleep, a practice far outside the drug’s intended purpose. On June 25, the day Jackson died, Dr. Conrad Murray gave him the drug sometime after midnight, the official said.
Though toxicology reports are pending, investigators are working under the theory that propofol caused Jackson’s heart to stop, the official said.
Murray, 51, has been identified in court papers as the subject of a manslaughter investigation and authorities last week raided his office and a storage unit in Houston. Police say Murray is cooperating and have not labeled him a suspect.
Murray’s lawyer, Edward Chernoff, has said the doctor “didn’t prescribe or administer anything that should have killed Michael Jackson.” When asked Monday about the law enforcement official’s statements he said: “We will not be commenting on rumors, innuendo or unnamed sources.”
Murray became Jackson’s personal physician in May and was to accompany him to London for a series of concerts starting in July. He was staying with Jackson in a rented Los Angeles mansion and, according to Chernoff, found an unconscious Jackson in the pop star’s bedroom the morning of June 25. Murray attempted to revive him but could not.
Police searching Jackson’s home after his death found propofol and other drugs, an IV line and three tanks of oxygen in Jackson’s bedroom, and 15 more oxygen tanks in a security guard’s shack.
Propofol can depress breathing and lower heart rates and blood pressure. Because of the risks, propofol is only supposed to be administered in hospitals. Instructions on the drug’s package warn that patients must be continuously monitored, and that equipment to maintain breathing, to provide artificial ventilation, and to administer oxygen if needed “must be immediately available.”
Jackson had trouble sleeping and the official said he enlisted various doctors to administer propofol, relying on the drug like an alarm clock. He would decide what time he wanted to awaken and at the appointed hour a doctor would stop the intravenous drip that delivered the drug, the official said.

If ever she tires of showbiz, a new career clearly awaits Madonna.
She could pose for medical students keen to learn about the muscular system.
Her once hefty arms have now lost every trace of fat, causing every vein and sinew to stand out in stark relief.
Madonna, 50, was pictured as she left a restaurant on Sunday night and returned to her London home.
Perhaps she needs to rethink her fitness sessions with personal trainer Tracy Anderson, which involve gruelling two-hour workouts six days a week while drinking coconut water to keep energy levels high.

Miss Anderson is based in New York but flew to London to help the star prepare for her European tour.
She was introduced to Madonna by Gwyneth Paltrow, who began working out after giving birth to son Moses in 2006.
Earlier this month, Miss Anderson said: ‘I have completely changed Madonna’s body. I told her to forget everything she had been taught before and to give up yoga, which can make you look terribly veiny.
‘Madonna’s very healthy and looks fantastic but those veins have nothing to do with me.’
