Jessica Alba went to the grocery store with her new baby, Honor. It really wasn’t that long ago that we would get excited about posting Jessica Alba bikini pictures. Or Jessica Alba butt in tight jeans pictures. Or Jessica Alba sex tape footage (Ok, so that one is just wishful thinking). Look however, at what Jessica has been reduced to…going to Trader Joes or Ralphs with her baby in mommy clothes and then pulling away in a Toyota Camry (and no, I’m not kidding). The world is just not a fair place to live.

Officials of the Miss California USA pageant strongly criticized some of the actions of titleholder Carrie Prejean on Monday but said it’s not their decision whether she should be stripped of her crown.
Co-executive directors Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler told a press conference that only Miss USA pageant owner Donald Trump can make that decision. He plans to hold a press conference at 11 a.m. Tuesday in New York City.
The officials said Prejean has been “unavailable” and so in the meantime they have appointed the state pageant’s runner-up, Tami Farrell, as a “Beauty of California Ambassador” to fulfill any duties the winner normally would handle.
Lewis said that if Trump allows Prejean to retain her crown, state pageant officials would welcome her back and encourage her to take part in her normal duties.
“We’re still going to be able to fulfill our duties no matter if Mr. Trump offers a second chance or utters his famous line from `The Apprentice,’” Lewis said (meaning, of course, “You’re fired”).
Prejean, 21, of San Diego, created controversy during the Miss USA pageant when she answered a judge’s question by saying she believes marriage should only be between a man and a woman.
The state pageant has been investigating whether she violated her contract by making public appearances with groups opposed to same-sex marriage. Prejean also failed to reveal that she posed in her underwear as a teenager.
Moakler said Prejean’s failure to reveal the photo to organizers shows she entered the pageant under false pretenses.
“For us the severity of nudity in the one photo that Carrie Prejean has admitted was hers is not the issue. The fact that she entered the pageant and admitted it, is,” Moakler said.
Moakler said that women entering the pageant are given documents that require full disclosure, but they do not say that any disclosure will make the person ineligible.
Rather, she said, the documents say the entrant should disclose things so officials can evaluate them.
“Our system is about empowering women to be the best they can be,” she said.
Lewis said the state pageant has never criticized Prejean for her beliefs, but he added that Miss California USA must represent everyone in the state.
Lewis said the appointment of Farrell wasn’t meant to be punitive or retaliatory against Prejean. Lewis and Moakler are officials of K2 Productions, which independently produces the state pageant under license. Lewis emphasized they were not speaking on behalf of the Miss USA or Miss Universe pageants.
In the meantime, blogs raised questions about whether a double standard existed as stories surfaced about topless pictures of Alysha S. Castonguay, now Miss Rhode Island USA. She was a New England Patriots cheerleaders when she posed for Maxim last year.
The 22-year-old Castonguay, who has said she told pageant officials about the pictures, apparently is in no danger of being dethroned.
On CBS’ “The Early Show,” Castonguay defended Prejean, saying Prejean’s comments on gay marriage are the main issue, not her photos.

An investigation by New York City officials into a charge Kiefer Sutherland head-butted a fashion designer at a nightclub will show the star of TV’s “24″ was not a wrongdoer or instigator, his attorney said Monday. Sutherland was charged Thursday with third-degree assault in the incident a week ago at a nightclub at the trendy Mercer Hotel in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan.
The designer, Jack McCollough of the high-end Proenza Schouler fashion house, claims Sutherland broke his nose after an argument at about 2 a.m. Tuesday. Police are also planning to question actress Brooke Shields as a witness.
Representatives for the three celebrities worked to clear up rumors after initially refusing to comment to the Associated Press.
“We are troubled by the untruthful and self-serving information circulating regarding Kiefer Sutherland and events of last Monday evening,” attorney Michael Miller said in a statement. “Out of respect for this law enforcement process, Kiefer Sutherland will not be making any comment.”
Representatives for McCollough said the designer’s injuries were more serious than what was initially noted on the police report. McCollough’s nose was broken in several places and he had to seek medical treatment after the altercation. The police report says he suffered a cut on his nose.
Shields’ attorney, Gerald Lefcourt, wouldn’t comment on whether she had been interviewed by police in the case. He said that many statements had been falsely attributed to Shields regarding the incident, and were likely made by people not at the scene.
“While at the party, she was bumped into by Jack McCollough and Kiefer Sutherland became concerned,” Lefcourt said in a statement. “Kiefer has always been a gentleman in her company. Both Jack and Kiefer are friends of Ms. Shields and she regrets this unfortunate situation.”
No decision has been made on whether the New York City charge will affect Sutherland’s probation for a drunken-driving conviction in Los Angeles.
Sutherland pleaded no contest in October 2007 to driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit of 0.08 percent. He served 30 days in jail, in addition to 18 days for violating probation in a 2004 drunken-driving arrest.
Sutherland, who plays dashing federal counterterrorism agent Jack Bauer on “24,” won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for best actor, and has been nominated multiple times for his work on the wildly popular show. The seventh season airs on Mondays.

SHIRLEY Jones (above), who was so wholesome on “The Partridge Family,” might pose nude for Playboy at the age of 75, if her husband/manager Marty Ingels has his way. “She’s still drop-dead gorgeous, and at the age of 75, a natural beauty,” Ingels told Page Six. “I’m her husband, and I think it would be sensational. Mature women are relevant.” Nancy Sinatra was 54 when she posed in 1995, eclipsing Vikki LaMotta, who was 51, and Joan Collins and Farrah Fawcett, who were both 50.

Comedian Joan Rivers was hired and poker champ Annie Duke was fired on the final faceoff of “Celebrity Apprentice.”
Rivers beat out Duke on Sunday’s finale by planning a better fundraising gala - and, maybe, by launching better zingers at her rival.
Rivers won $250,000 for her chosen charity (God’s Love We Deliver, which brings meals to the seriously ill who are homebound). She also won sweet revenge against her bitter adversary, with whom she swapped many less-than-charitable words as the season wore on.
NBC’s over-padded three-hour broadcast eventually led to Duke being summoned to the decisive boardroom session, aired live from Manhattan’s Museum of Natural History. There, she heard the dreaded verdict from series host Donald Trump: “You’re fired.”
But before that, as she and Rivers sat across the boardroom table from Trump, the fur continued to fly.
“You are a two-faced person,” Rivers railed at Duke. “You have said I’m a cancer. You said you hoped I would die. You never said it to my face!”
“For six boardrooms,” said Duke, holding tight to her composure, “I sat here and acted professional.”
“Professional-ly,” Rivers corrected her.
“And there’s only so much a girl can take,” Duke continued.
“You’re not a girl anymore, darling,” Rivers shot back. “You’re a woman.”
Rivers and Duke were the last of 16 celebrities who started the season vying for the title of Celebrity Apprentice.
In its eighth season, “Celebrity Apprentice” has displayed remarkable stamina as a reality-show infomercial whose mission, in the form of a contest, is to plug brand names. Last week’s challenge called for the celebrity contestants to come up with the winning jingle to promote a certain brand of tuna. Sunday’s finale was built around a photography brand piggybacked onto product placement for a popular theater production.
“Celebrity Apprentice” is also dedicated to breathing new life into the brands of the celebrity participants themselves, who, as this season began, included Olympic figure skating gold medalist Scott Hamilton, comedian Andrew Dice Clay, former “Monster Garage” host Jesse James and TV personality Khloe Kardashian.
For the final task, dueling project managers Rivers and Duke were assigned to create a pre-theater party and silent auction, sponsored by Kodak, for patrons attending Cirque du Soleil’s “Wintuk.”
Project teams were composed of previously fired contestants including former football great Herschel Walker, Playboy pinup Brande Roderick, country music performer Clint Black, former NBA basketball bad boy Dennis Rodman, comedian Tom Green and TV host Melissa Rivers, reunited with her mom, Joan.
Difficulties (and enmity between the teams) spiked when Rivers tangled with the design firm that had been hired to assist both teams. The company pulled out on Rivers’ team - and Duke’s team, too.
“This woman needs to die,” Duke seethed as she tried to fix a problem she blamed on Rivers.
But now that the game is over, can the rift between them heal? In the show’s final seconds, Rivers rose to her feet and gave Duke, still seated beside her, a hug.

This is no joke - “Funny Girl” Barbara Streisand’s assistant has been busted on drug charges.
Tina Fortenberry was arrested in Malibu on Wednesday after cops found cocaine, metamphetamines and a dangerous weapon inside her car, cops said Saturday.
Police pulled over Fortenberry, 52, on the Pacific Coast Highway when they saw her vehicle had expired tags. When they searched her car, they allegedly found the drugs.
They also seized a “sap,” a blackjack-style weapon, according to the celebrity Web site TMZ. Malibu police couldn’t confirm the type of weapon.
Fortenberry - who was on her way to the post office on an errand for Babs - was also busted for driving with a suspended license.
Streisand’s gal Friday - who has worked in the past as an assistant on the films “Dr. Dolittle 2,” “Liar Liar” and “Problem Child” - was released on bond and is set to appear in Malibu Supreme Court in July.
