There’s a settlement in the defamation lawsuit filed against Dr. Phil by a witness in O.J. Simpson’s robbery case.

Attorneys for Phil McGraw and memorabilia dealer Thomas Riccio filed a statement Monday, saying an agreement had been reached.

Riccio sued McGraw and Stage 29 Media Productions in October. He claimed an interview with McGraw was edited to remove his denials to certain accusations, including that he set Simpson up and told Simpson to bring guns to a Las Vegas robbery.

A judge gutted the case last month, removing defamation, false light and infliction of emotional distress claims.

The interview aired days after Simpson was convicted of robbing and kidnapping two sports memorabilia dealers at gunpoint.

A smiling Christina Applegate graces the cover of People magazine’s “Most Beautiful” issue.

The 37-year-old actress, who recently battled breast cancer, certainly has much to celebrate: She says she’s finally found her “perfect type” in her new beau, Dutch musician Martyn Lenoble (Mar-TAN Luh-NOBLE).

Applegate had a double mastectomy last July and reconstructive surgery months later. The star of ABC’s “Samantha Who?” calls Lenoble an “angel” who loves her “from head to toe.”

According to Applegate, Lenoble has been her “rock” and gave her reason to live - and smile.

The annual “Most Beautiful” issue features 100 famous faces, including Michelle Obama, Zac Efron and Cindy Crawford posing without makeup. It hits stands Friday.

Sean Penn has filed for “legal separation with minor children” from his wife of 13 years, actress Robin Wright Penn.

He filed the papers last Friday, Extra first reported.

Penn, 48, initially filed for divorce in December 2007, but his petition was later dismissed. Three days later, Wright Penn, 43, filed her own paperwork.

But in April 2008, the couple’s divorce petition was dismissed at their request.

They attended February’s Academy Awards, where Penn won his second Best Actor Oscar for his role as gay rights activist Harvey Milk.

He did not thank Wright Penn — with whom he has two children, Dylan, 18, and Hopper Jack, 15 — while accepting his award.

After the show, he told Oprah Winfrey that his gratitude for his wife was “implicit.”

“I wanted to keep things focused on the professional team around this movie,” he explained. “Because with Robin comes my mother and my son and my daughter, and half of them will punish me if I mention them.”

Paris Hilton is going to win an award, and its not for best actress in a night-vision scene. Yeah, I went there. Anyways, its for perfume. Believe it or not, her perfume not only sells, but it supposedly smells good, according to Parlux Fragrances. So Paris will be given an award at the 2009 FIFI Awards.

The moral of this wonderful story is that you can do absolutely anything if you put your mind to it and if your parents have a billion dollars.

Pam Anderson helped open up Sapphire Steakhouse in New York City. Two things stand out here: 1) Pam Anderson and the establishment name Sapphire in the same sentence whereas Sapphire is not the proper name of a strip club. 2) She just recently did a PETA ad and protested KFC. Boy, the colonel can sure smell hypocrisy when its around eh! Pam is finger lickin awful in the picture above, when will she stop dressing like a teenage girl at the mall?
