The jailed husband of singer Amy Winehouse has started divorce proceedings against her, PEOPLE has confirmed.

Blake Fielder-Civil has instructed a lawyer to file papers. “I can confirm that I have been instructed to commence divorce proceedings on the grounds of Amy’s adultery,” Henri Brandman told PEOPLE, confirming a statement he made to a Sunday tabloid in the U.K.

And Fielder-Civil’s mother Georgette adds that it was she who contacted Brandman on her son’s behalf last week. She says, “I am just so relieved it’s going to be all over.”

The couple have been through many ups and downs and it is the second time in six weeks that Fielder-Civil or those close to him have spoken about a split.

Mrs. Civil vows: “It will go through this time, it will go ahead.”

Winehouse’s rep in the U.K., Chris Goodman, had no comment.

The singer has spent recent weeks vacationing in St. Lucia – often along side a hunky rugby player.

Scare some stations might not play the third Circus single, due to its not-so-subtle profanity.

Profanity in pop songs is old news. Hell, the chorus to Christina Aguilera’s recent single, “Keeps Gettin’ Better,” kicks off with the phrase, “Some days I’m a super bi—.” That one is easy enough for radio stations to edit out in order to avoid any fines from the FCC or threats to yank their licenses.

But what will they do with a new single from a major artist that doesn’t actually contain a four-letter word, but rather spells it out in a not-so-subtle way? That dilemma is beginning to dawn on top-40 radio programmers across the country as the third single from album, “If U Seek Amy,” starts to make its way to the airwaves.

The cheeky title (try saying it fast) joins the tradition of album titles like Van Halen’s 1991 For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. The chorus doesn’t even try to make grammatical sense of the phrase: “But all of the boys and all of the girls are begging to if you seek Amy.”

The spelled-out profanity puts the song into a legal gray area for radio stations.

“It’s OK to put in on an album, have fun with it, but we’re publicly owned, you know?” said Patti Marshall, program director at Cincinnati’s Q102, a pop station in a decidedly conservative Midwestern market. “We have a responsibility to the public … you put this … out and act like we’re all fuddy-duddies, like we’re trying to make moral judgments. It’s not about us. It’s about the mom in the minivan with her 8-year-old.”

Like several programmers we talked to, Marshall said she had not yet been told that “Amy” was the next single from Circus. She’s still busy playing the album’s title track, which was recently released as the second single. Asked if she would play “Amy” if it came to her as a single, Marshall said likely wouldn’t. She likened its chorus (which she has not heard) to “a little boy in sixth grade doing arm farts.”

A spokesperson for the Federal Communications Commission did not return calls for comment, and Spears’ label confirmed the choice of the single but would not comment on its content or any potential issues at radio.

Sharon Dastur, program director at Z100 in New York, also had not yet heard the song and said she’s not sure what the station’s plans are for it. She compared its possible problems to those faced by her station in 2005 upon the release of the Black Eyed Peas single “Don’t Phunk With My Heart.”

“Listeners thought it was the other word, and so we had to change it to ‘mess,’ ” she said. That example was also the first that popped to mind for KIIS FM Los Angeles program director John Ivey, who said he knew he couldn’t play the Peas’ song as originally recorded but felt that censoring it would make it sound more nefarious, so he asked the group’s label for a new version.

“It’s a potential issue for every station,” Ivey said of the Spears single. “I’m certain that I would run it by my legal department first. My first job is to protect [the station’s] license. … It’s better to be safe than sorry.”

Asked if he would recut the song to edit out the naughty bits, Ivey said he probably wouldn’t because he felt the phrase was included in the song to provoke, so an alteration would change its intention. “[Spears’ label, Jive,] might also be just floating it out there to see if they can stir things up a bit.”

Mariska Hargitay is suffering from a collapsed lung, according to a rep for the “Law & Order: SVU” star.

“Mariska Hargitay has been sidelined with a pneumothorax (a partially collapsed lung),” the rep told Access Hollywood exclusively.

Despite the injury, “she will appear in all episodes for the rest of the season of ‘Law &Order: SVU,’” her rep added.

According to WebMD, pneumothorax occurs as a result of the “buildup of air in the space between the lung and the chest wall.”

It is often caused by a chest injury like a puncture wound or broken rib, but can occur without injury.

Treatment can include oxygen and observation by a doctor, while serious cases can require surgery.

Mariska Hargitay was one of several nominated actors, including “Milk’s” James Franco and Sean Penn, who did not appear at the Golden Globes on Sunday night.

Forget the Super Bowl party, it’s time to plan a wedding.

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are making some major post-season plans after getting engaged in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The New England Patriots quarterback, 31, proposed with a diamond solitaire to the Brazilian supermodel, 28, on Friday.

“He asked and she accepted,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. Family and friends were informed over the weekend. An official announcement, as well as preliminary wedding details, are being planned by Bündchen and her closest friends this week.

“The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home,” the source adds.

First Marriage for Both
While engagement rumors flew – and were denied – before Christmas, the January engagement will mark the first marriage for both.

Bündchen’s agent said, “We don’t comment on our clients’ private lives.”

Though Bündchen had ended her longtime relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio in 2005, Brady was romantically involved when the couple met. Shortly after, he broke off his relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.

In August 2007, Moynahan gave birth to Brady’s son, John Edward Thomas.

On his KIIS-FM radio show Monday, Ryan Seacrest spoke out about Angelina Jolie dissing him on the red carpet at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards.

Seacrest had gotten up next to the actress and beau Brad Pitt, hoping to score an interview on E!’s pre-show. “Hi, guys. Brad? Angelina?” he said, but they ignored his advance and brushed by him.

Seacrest’s take on the incident?

“I don’t think Angelina thinks I’m that important,” he said on his show Monday. “I don’t think I’m top of mind for Brad and Angelina. I honestly don’t believe they’d know who I was if I walked over there.”

When guest Perez Hilton told Seacrest that that’s impossible, as he hosts the No. 1 show American Idol, the TV personality shot back: “Yeah…but they live in France!”

Jolie and Pitt did stop for NBC’s Billy Bush, but Seacrest said, “there’s an NBC deal there. NBC hosted the Globes, and they have a deal to talk to the people who come to the Globes.

“Here’s what I realized when I went down there,” Seacrest went on. “I realized quickly that it’s against the rules to walk down onto the carpet from the platform.

“Then we went back down there and caught up with Tom Cruise, who I think is a terrific guy. I think he’s really cool,” he said. “By the way, have you seen his skin tone up close lately? You should!”

Seacrest clashed with Jolie before: At the 2006 Golden Globes, he asked her what she fed her children that day and she icily replied ” Cereal — we made cereal.”

He later called her “cold” for being so unresponsive.

Turns out, Jolie’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, was on her death bed at the time.

Anne Hathaway couldn’t hold back the rambling and tears as she received the dual honor of Best Actress (along with “Doubt” actress Meryl Streep) for her performance in “Rachel Getting Married” at Thursday night’s VH1 Critics Choice Awards. But one lady who looked less-than-impressed was fellow nominee Angelina Jolie.

As Hathaway gushed about how thrilling it was to win something with her “idol” Streep, the cameras caught Jolie (twice) with such a severe scowl it caused quite the gasp backstage.

Let’s put it this way: if looks could kill, Hathaway would definitely be dead.

“Angelina didn’t say much for the rest of the night,” an eyewitness told Tarts. “She was all smiles before the announcement, and it was clear she wasn’t happy.”

For a the world’s highest-paid actress, one would think Jolie would have found it an appropriate time to use her skills to hide those feelings of disappointment.

But back to Anne, this certainly isn’t the first time film critics have managed to trigger a tear or two.

“I cried it with joy the first time I got a good review from the New York Times. I cried with joy because it took forever and I had to memorize it,” she told Tarts. “They said my performance from ‘Becoming Jane’ was a triumph, and I felt so happy, because I’d never gotten a good review from them, so I cried and cried. Then the bad ones, well you try to learn from them. Sometimes you’re even ballsy enough to disagree with them.”

Hathaway received her highest acting praise to-date with her role as a tortured rehabber in “Rachel Getting Married,” but she insisted that she never lets the turmoil of her personal life and her break-up with jailed beau Raffaello Follieri to influence the characters she plays.

“I think it’s dangerous to use what’s going on in your personal life, it’s destructive and misleading because most of the time they have nothing to do with each other,” she said. “As an actress I love being able to leave my life behind.”

But despite the scandalous split, the 26-year-old couldn’t be better.

“I’m a pretty happy person even in critical moments,” she added. “How could I not be? I’m truly blessed and loved in my life.”

Vanessa Hudgens has a unique recession strategy: Get as much as you can for free.

The “High School Musical” star hit the Golden Globes swag suites hard over the weekend, leaving her assistant to carry four “overflowing” bags of freebies, totaling a whopping $12,000.

Hudgens overtook “Access Hollywood’s” Stuff You Must … lounge suite, making sure to “take something from every booth,” our witness said.

Among the gratis goods were a one-year pass for her and a pal to a AMC Theatres, a BlackBerry Pearl, a coffee machine, a $4,000 diamond pendant, designer clutches, a year-long gym membership and more.

It was more than a little ironic when, during her spree, Hudgens commented on how overjoyed she was with the “huge house I just bought.”

We’re guessing it’s a little easier to fill a new home when you’re spending three hours in a gift lounge.

Many of the other greediest grabbers were further down the fame scale: January Jones of “Mad Men” acclaim snagged $10,000 of baubles from Kari Feinstein’s Golden Globe Lounge, while “O.C.” actress Samaire Armstrong snagged a $4,500 necklace from a neighboring booth. “Access Hollywood” host Nancy O’Dell picked up $8,000 diamond earrings at her own show’s lounge.

But what do actual Globe nominees think of the goodie gluttony in Tinseltown?

Talk enough smack about a popular celebrity, and you, too, can be famous.

That’s what a few naysayer bloggers found out Sunday night after Tina Fey called them out on stage and told them to “suck it.”

During her victorious night at the 66th Annual Golden Globes, Fey couldn’t help but get something off her chest. While accepting her award for Best Actress in a Television Series - Comedy, she let out some pent up aggression towards bloggers “dianefan,” “BabsonLacrosse,” and “cougar-letter.”

“If you ever feel too good about yourself, they have this thing called ‘the internet.’ You can find a lot of people there who don’t like you, and I’d like to address some of them now.”

Fey then proceeded to list off the offenders and telling them, one by one, that they “can suck it!” “Cougar-letter,” the reigning offender seemed to prick Fey the most. Fey announced that “cougar-letter” had been taking shots at Fey all year ’round.

Hopefully firing back at the blogs on stage was cathartic enough for Fey to move on. If not, than her win for the Best Television Series - Comedy, should do the trick!
Although Fey’s speech was hilarious, she could have let the statues do the talking.
