Her body has been slimmed and danced back into shape, her career resurrected and her relationship with her family finally restored.
Now it seems that Britney Spears is updating her surroundings in fitting with her new start in life.
The singer has left behind the six bedroom $7.1 million home in the Los Angeles suburbs which was the setting for her big meltdown.
Writing on her website, Britney enthused: ‘I just took my babies to our new home and they loved it. I can’t wait to move in.’
Her father Jamie Spears, who remains in legal control of his daughter, sought permission from a court in June to sell the home.

Her new home, at least temporarily, is an even more extravagant $9million mansion.
Mother-of-two Britney lived in her previous hilltop home for less than two years - and had to leave it early this year to be forcibly hospitalised.
Now she is making a fresh start in the very luxurious surroundings of Chateau Suenos, which is located in an exclusive gated community in the Calabasas area of Los Angeles. She will be renting the house while she builds a permanent home nearby.

The over-the-top House Of Dreams features every conceivable luxury.
The custom designed estate features more than 10,000 square feet of living space for Britney to relax.
The gardens will give her young sons more than an acre to run around in as they play in the rose garden and swim in the glass mosaic pool.
All the interiors are built from the finest limestone, marble, walnut hardwood parquet and plank flooring, imported European stone mosaics and limestone fireplaces.

Guests can stay in a private retreat before joining the star in the large soundproof cinema fitted out with the finest technology.
Elevators with stone mosaic flooring and millwork link the living areas to the guest suite - which includes a living room, kitchen, bedroom and large walk in steam shower.
She may be off the drink, but if Britney decides to build up a wine collection she can choose a bottle from the climate controlled Venetian plastered wine cellar basement.
Books can be filed away in a two-storey octagon library tower which includes a private office, bar and fireplace lined with wood paneled book shelves.

In the center of the Chateau is an interior courtyard with French terracotta pavers, imported limestone fountain and outdoor fireplace.
The master bedroom includes a separate large designer dressing room including garment, shoe and bag storage.
And Britney can prepare for her day in a custom bathroom suite with a dry sauna, steam shower and bath that extends onto a balcony spanning across the rear elevation of the estate.

Her cars cans be stored below ground in a garage with two auto lifts.
And if that isn’t enough Britney can spend time in the craft room, mud room, maid’s quarters or three other bedroom suites.

Despite claiming she doesn’t date much, it appears Anne Hathaway’s luck is starting to change.
This mighty smooch confirms she has gone public with her love for actor Adam Shulman.
Anne was spotted kissing her new man on the way to a photoshoot the day before the Golden Globes - leaving little doubt that the pair are lovers.
And they clearly couldn’t keep their hands off each other as Anne,26, cuddled up to Adam on her driveway.
Dressed in black dress and leather jacket, the stylish brunette appeared happy and relaxed as she passionately embraced Adam before heading off.
The Devil Wears Prada star has reportedly been living with him for months - but this is the first time the couple have shown any kind of affection in public.
Hathaway recently said that despite playing a wedding obsessed character in Bride Wars, and sister of the bride in Rachel Getting Married, in real life she doesn’t even go out with many men.
‘I don’t date that much,’ she said.

The actress can hardly be blamed for staying away from the opposite sex after ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri was arrested for money laundering and fraud.
In September, the Italian conman admitted bilking investors by claiming to have an inside track on Vatican property and was jailed for four and a half years.
Hathaway says her relationship with Follieri was over before his arrest in June last year, and compared their differences to cherry blossom branches she once brought into their home.
‘They lasted a month and were beautiful even as they died,’ she said.
‘Raffaello always liked things fancier and perfect and told our maid to throw them out.
‘That was then I knew we saw things differently.’
And she claimed their break-up was not dramatic.
‘I was a 21-year-old kid when I met him. It wasn’t a huge, dramatic break-up,’ she said.

‘We were in the process of winding it down when he was arrested.
‘I don’t talk about this, except when I’m asked. It’s not a part of my life anymore.
‘It’s a complicated situation that has the ability to define me in ways I am not comfortable with.’
Meanwhile, Hathaway has got plenty to keep her busy with her career.
She’s been nominated for several awards for her performance as a recovering drug addict in Rachel Getting Married - but lost out on a Golden Globe to Kate Winslet on Sunday night.
She’s currently filming her role as the White Queen in the eagerly-anticipated film version of Alice In Wonderland.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have revealed their second daughter’s name: Seraphina, a source confirms to Usmagazine.com.
The girl was born Jan. 6 in Los Angeles.
Garner and Affleck — also parents to daughter Violet, 3 — did not reveal the meaning behind the baby’s name.
“Seraphina is an elaborately feminine kind of name that’s really come into style over the past few years, like [Affleck’s friend Matt Damon’s daughter] Isabella,” Baby Name Bible author Pamela Redmond Satran, who also runs Web site Nameberry, tells Us.
“Seraphim is one of the highest orders of angels,” adds Satran. “It kind of follows from Angelina, which has gotten super popular because of Angelina Jolie, as a a spiritual, heavenly name.
The ‘ph’ spelling of Seraphina is more Hebrew in origin. It means ‘ardent,’ which is passionate,” she says.
“Ben and Jen really put Violet on the map,” Satran says of the couple’s knack for naming. “They transformed it from what people saw as a dowdy, old lady name to a really cute, modern choice.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt has won a restraining order against a 62-year-old man she says has been stalking her.
Court records show a judge in Burbank on Monday granted Hewitt’s request for a three-year restraining order against David Nolte. The actress stated in a court petition that Nolte recently sold his home in Colorado and moved to Los Angeles to be closer to Hewitt.
Documents also include dozens of letters allegedly sent by Nolte, describing violent and sexual fantasies involving Hewitt.
The actress wrote that she became more fearful of Nolte after he appeared at her mother’s house in late December. Court records do not indicate whether Nolte has an attorney.
Hewitt currently stars on CBS’ “The Ghost Whisperer.”

Jeremy Piven, who lost to Wilkinson in the supporting category — a rarity for Piven, whose Ari on HBO’s “Entourage” has garnered a lot of statues. Piven has had a rough few weeks since leaving the Broadway play “Speed the Plow” claiming he was felled by mercury poisoning. Since then, the press has been a horror, with the New York tabs accusing Piven of everything short of treason or genocide.
So here now is Piven’s side of things, as he explained it to me last night: “I was so sick for most of the run of the show. Some days I would sleep right until the time I had to go to the theater. I didn’t know what was wrong with me. I was exhausted. Finally, I went to a doctor at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut just so it wouldn’t turn into a circus. He said, ‘you’ve got to stop working.’ My heart rate was 47. My mercury level was off the charts. I hadn’t had a real break in 20 years of acting.’”
Many people are skeptical of Piven’s mercury excuse. Playwright David Mamet told the papers of Piven: “He wants to be a thermometer.” Piven told me that was a funny line. “But what do you expect? He’s a great writer.” Piven told me he had nothing but respect for co-star Raul Esparza, even though Esparza has bad mouthed him publicly since the exit. Last night at the HBO party, Piven spoke for the first time to his other ex-castmate, Elizabeth Moss. “We’re okay,” Jeremy told me. “She said she understood. She knew how much I put into the play.”
Piven does suspect the play’s producers of fueling the fire in the New York press. He doesn’t care. “My life has always been in the theater. I was raised in the theater.” And the truth is, Piven could not have gotten out of the play without a real diagnosis for insurance purposes. He says that years of being a fish eating vegetarian was enough to do the trick and act as a catalyst.
Some reality, not just opinion: Piven has no negative history in Hollywood or New York of shirking his duties. In fact, he’s been a reliable player in all media. It’s not like he’s ever had trouble on a set. And it wasn’t like he was trying to get out of “Speed the Plow” because of poor reviews. Critics and audiences loved his Bobby Gould. So maybe, just maybe, there’s nothing so fishy about Piven’s exit. Plus, business was good.

Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the movies, thinks ‘High School Musical’ actress would be ‘great’ as Leah Clearwater.

With all the “New Moon” casting rumors that have been floating around since “Twilight” hit theaters, we were especially wondering who would play werewolf Leah Clearwater, Jacob Black’s feisty and heartbroken frienemy.
Well, one of the rumored actresses in the running — “High School Musical” starlet Vanessa Hudgens — has apparently taken the next step and auditioned for the role, according to “Twilight” actress Ashley Greene.
We ran into Alice herself at a Golden Globes afterparty, and she told us she’d be happy to co-star with Hudgens. “I think she’d be great,” Greene enthused.
Just last week, we asked Twilighters on our Movies Blog what actress should play Leah, including Hudgens and “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” actress Brenda Song as two poll options. The actresses tied at 31 percent of your vote, with “neither” being the most popular choice at 38 percent.
Commenters had a lot to say about Hudgens’ possible casting — both positive and negative.
“I cannot picture her being mean or aggressive as Leah,” Mary_ym commented about the Disney star.
“Vanessa Hudgens would be a good choice,” chill_kid_07 countered. ” … Of course she can’t look like Leah — no one can. You know why? ‘Cause it’s just a book, and these are actors trying to portray the roles! I think she would be great.”
Besides casting, Greene also had some news on the status of “New Moon.”
“I hear they’re doing another rewrite,” the actress revealed of the in-flux script. “I’m with you guys — I’m so excited to read it.”
