U.K.’s Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, said that he disapproved of Britain’s worship of celebrities and refused to associate with them. He contradicted himself when he praised David Beckham for his contributions to his country’s sport.David Beckham has visited Gordon Brown’s official residence at Number 10, Downing Street, on Tuesday night, Jan. 8. David emerged an hour later and he was full of praises for his Prime Minister. He said that Mr. Brown would be visiting his football academy later this week.
