Jamie Lynn Spears Beau Casey Aldridge: What Louisiana Police Say

Jamie Lynn Spears’ pregnancy, at age 16, has raised legal questions because of Casey Aldridge’s age.
Aldridge is believed to be 18 or 19.
There is still no word on where the sexual intercourse took place.
However, if it happened in Spears’ home state of Louisiana, and if Aldridge was 19 at the time, he could be charged with what the state calls “felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile,†which is defined as “sexual intercourse with consent between someone age 19 or older and someone between age 12 and 17.â€
If he was under 19, then he might be charged with a misdemeanor. Laws vary from state-to-state.
A spokeswoman for the local sheriff’s department in Kentwood, Louisiana, told Baton Rouge’s WAFB-TV that no complaint has been filed in the case and “no criminal investigation is currently underway.â€

Ohmygodd! Jamie and Casey are obviously a couple, why should he be charged with ANYTHING illegal since they have a romantic relationship together? Just leave them alone!! Jamie’s pregnant with her BOYFRIENDS baby, and she’s keeping it. That’s it. You don’t need to go and make it all a big deal when they probably love each other. It’s so stupid, you can’t just leave them alone.
Btw, I am happy for Jamie. I think that she shouldn’t be forced to focus on the negative side of her pregnancy, but only on the positives. Think about it, the father of her baby is attractive, they both have enough money to take care of it, and so far her career has been successful, and even after a year or two break because of the baby, she can always start her acting/singing career back up. She’s still young!
