While 2007 may have been the longest/worst year of Britney Spears’ entire life, that may all be about to change.  Today marks the release of “Blackout,” her new album that has critics and fans alike singing her praises.

According to Rolling Stone’s Joe Levy, the new album is “state of the art.  One of the problems for Britney right now is the public is more focused on her personal life than her music. This record is an opportunity to change that.”
